At present, we have about 500 students in this academy. Classes are divided by level and lecturer in charge is stationed at each class. Japanese lecturers in charge of Japanese language education are about 50 people and staffs in charge of educational guidance are several people. Lecturers in this academy use their experience and create original teaching material to advance educational activity.

Countermeasure for various demands

This academy is inviting university professors and is providing career guidance to meet each student’s condition at any time. It is providing work experience to combine education and practice in school in cooperation with more than 20 Japanese companies. Moreover, some students get employment place the Japanese companies directly after graduation.

This academy is located on the seaside in Fukuoka of Kyushu. The scenery is beautiful and the life is comfortable. There is 24 hours super market, bank, post office, big electric appliance store, general hospital and university around the academy.

Scholarshipcourse for care for care

This academy welcomes students that wish to study care in Japan. The qualified students for the entrance requirement can take 2 year scholarship and paid practice at a medical corporation in Japan. It prepares chances to get employment or continue their education in Japan and China after graduation.

Overseas training course and short term study course

This academy is providing chance of paid practice before the students graduate in cooperation with Chinese university. In addition, it welcomes short term study of the students and its relative.(“three plus one” or “two plus one”)

Curriculum

The school house was built in 2003 and is providing the students with comfortable learning environment. The classrooms to take lessons are fully equipped with television set, video and air conditioner. The educational objective is to aim at entering a higher-level school such as university, graduate school and professional school. We guide the foreign students courteously and completely.

Elementary level	Students will learn fundamental grammar, Chinese (kanji) characters (approx. 300 characters), and vocabulary (approx. 1,500 words). They will be able to have a simple conversation and read and write simple sentences. Finally, their skill level will reach an elementary level of Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).	Minna no nihongo (Everyone's Japanese language) I, Minna no nihongo (Everyone's Japanese language) II, Yasashi sakubun (Easy writing composition), Chokai Tasuku (Listening comprehension), Shokyu de yomeru topikku (25 topics for beginners)
Elementary to intermediate level	Students will learn grammar, Chinese (kanji) characters (approx. 600 characters), vocabulary (approx. 3,000 words). They will be able to have a general conversation and read and write simple sentences. Finally, their skill level will reach a primary to intermediate level.	Shokyu kara chukyu eno nihongo (Japanese language of the elementary to intermediate level), Chukyu e ikou (Preparation for learning the intermediate level of Japanese), Doriru: bunpou/goi (Exercises: grammar and vocabulary), Mainichi no kikitori (Daily listening comprehension), Nihongo so-matome (Comprehensive Japanese) series N3
Intermediate class	Students will learn relatively advanced grammar, Chinese (kanji)characters (approx. 1,000 characters), vocabulary (approx. 6,000 words). They will be able to have an intelligent conversation and read and write intelligent sentences. Finally, their skill level will reach an intermediate level of JLPT. Measures for Examination for Japanese University (EJU) will be also taken.	Chukyu wo manabou (Let's learn the intermediate level of Japanese language), Chukyu kara joukyu eno nihongo (Japanese language of the intermediate to advanced level), Nihongo so-matome (Comprehensive Japanese) series N2, Chu-jokyu Mainichi no kikitori (Daily listening comprehension for the intermediate level of learners) Part I/II
Advanced level	Students will learn advanced grammar, Chinese (kanji) characters (approx. 2,000 characters), vocabulary (approx. 10,000 words). They will be able to have a conversation or debate suitable for college life. They will acquire comprehensive Japanese language skills which will enable themselves to make a presentation. Finally, their skill level will reach an advanced level of JLPT. Measures for advancement to universities and graduate schools will also be taken.	Jokyu de manabou (Let's learn the advanced level), Nihon eno shotai -- Kokkyo wo koete (Invitation to Japan -- across borders), Nihongo so-matome (Comprehensive Japanese) series N1, Nihongo jokyu dokkai (Advanced reading of Japanese language), Nihon ryugaku shiken choukai (Listening comprehension for EJU)

Preparation for examination

Examination for Japanese University (EJU)

Our academy makes all of the students take the Examination for Japanese University (EJU) under the guidance of academic Japanese instructors responding to the EJU. In preparation for examinations, held in June and November, measures for a "listening comprehension" test and a "reading" test are taken for the students who are in the intermediate class at the second stage, as needed. In addition, as classes for descriptive tests are also held, students can learn all of the subjects together. Measures for subjects other than Japanese language are also taken.

Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)

Classes for the JLPT "characters and vocabulary", "listening comprehension", "reading/grammar" are held based on each student's learning level from the first year. Practice tests are also conducted. Excellent students also receive instruction for comprehensive mathematics and English in cram courses for advancement to national, public, and leading private universities.

Sakura Japanese Language Academy guides students understanding Japanese culture, society, and history from multiple perspecties.
